Ana Istaru’s biography

 

 

Ana Istaru was born in San Jose, Costa Rica, in 1960. She received a bachelor’s degree in Theatre from the University of Costa Rica in 1981. She is known for her work as a poet, an actor and a playwright. She has published six volumes of poetry, the best known of which is Fever Season.
