Poets for Peace

Poets for Peace was a reading by Vancouver poets held at the Vancouver Public Library on February 22, 2003. The reading was organized by Luanne Armstrong and Jamie Reid, and sponsored by Writers Against War and the Vancouver Public Library. The poetry reading was held in solidarity with poets in the United States after a literary seminar at the White House, sponsored by Laura Bush, was cancelled.

Approximately 120 people attended the reading.
