I am currently a PhD candidate working on my dissertation,
which has the working title of Learning Life: The Human
Dimension in Education. I am interested in how the human
is not addressed in educational environments and how it
can be. I am also interested in the inner experience of
the educator and how this dimension of the educator's experience
is interactively connected with the outer world. As well,
I am a counsellor in private practice, teach at Vancouver
Community College, and City University. I do occasional
organizational consulting. I am the peer advisor in the
Centre; a position that I greatly enjoy.
I have succeeded in having a number of papers published
in the last couple of years, including, A Process-Oriented
Approach to Training in Groups, Working with a Personal
Dream-Alone, and Dissociative Identity Disorder:
Perspectives and Alternatives. I have also presented
at a number of conferences and will be presenting at AERA
and CSSE in 2005.
